Cylinder kit compatible with your Hercules Prima M, 2, 3, 4, 5, or Optima moped equipped with a Sachs 505, 535, or 504/508 (with modifications) engine.
Thanks to the large intake, the overflow channels, and the exhaust, this racing kit delivers a significant increase in performance.
Notes:
- You must always use spark plugs with long threads.
- For the 504 / 508 engines (42 mm stroke), adjustments must be made to the cylinder: Adjust the cylinder base and gasket as shown in Figure 5.
- For engines with a 42 mm stroke shaft, use the thinner cylinder base gasket; for 44 mm stroke engines, use the thicker one.
- For the model with an external clutch lever, the intake manifold must be extended; otherwise, the carburetor may come into contact with the clutch lever.
- Please note that the intake manifold and exhaust flange are not included in the scope of delivery.
- The adapters from Athena do not fit these cylinders, as they only have an M6 hole. We therefore recommend ordering a compatible swiing® adapter.
We recommend measuring the crimping edge during every cylinder installation, as manufacturing and tolerance variations may occur on the engine case, cylinder, and cylinder head. Please observe the installation direction during assembly. The piston is installed with the arrow pointing toward the exhaust on the exhaust side.
