The guide plate is mounted directly to the engine casing near the exhaust manifold. It reliably keeps the shift cables at a safe distance from the exhaust manifold and ensures that the Bowden cable shift mechanism runs smoothly along the engine casing of your scooter. Depending on the intended use, the cable holder is bent to the correct shape before installation.
