16x13 mm variator weights with 10 grams each, suitable for the variator of your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo and Boxer moped / moped.
These variator rollers can also be used for Peugeot and ByeBike models, among others.
Lighter variator pulleys allow the variator to shift up later and the engine revs higher when accelerating. Heavier rollers shift up sooner, which causes the engine speed to drop. If the rollers are too light, the variator may not upshift fully, which reduces the top speed.
When tuning the variator drive, it has proven to be a good idea to start with the heaviest rollers and then gradually work your way up until the engine turns cleanly and smoothly and keeps the revs high on hills.
