U washer made of stainless steel to be able to fix spokes cleanly on hubs with narrow hubs. This can be used, for example, on your moped / moped with Sachs sheet metal hubs.
The spacer is first threaded onto the spoke and then the spoke is driven into the hub. This avoids overloading the spoke at its neck in the area of the kick.
