Rear hub with a through-axle compatible with all Puch mopeds featuring 19-inch spoked wheels and manually shifted engines.
This first-generation coaster brake hub with a sheet steel casing was installed, for example, on the Puch X30 Velux HG. The permanently welded sprocket has 34 teeth. The hub is shipped without a brake plate.
Notes:
Due to years of storage, the hub body may show slight signs of corrosion and other minor damage. On this particular unit, dents have formed in the outer sheet metal casing as a result of storage.
New coaster hubs must be installed by a qualified professional in accordance with the relevant manufacturer’s documentation. The bearing play must be checked after installing the brake plate and readjusted if necessary. You’ll find our tutorial on this below. Improper handling and any resulting damage do not constitute grounds for a warranty claim.
