Why this tool: To loosen a stuck piston pin, many people drive the pin out with a suitable iron and hammer blows. The problem with this is that the connecting rod bearing can be damaged during such an operation! With this tool, the piston can be driven out in a targeted manner and no forces are exerted on the connecting rod bearing.
